The radio has also been designed not only to be weatherproof, shockproof, and drop-proof, but also to meet MilSpec810 and IP54 standards. With the included XTN NIMH rechargeable battery, you will get up to 15 hours of continuous work between recharges, and if you find yourself running a third shift on the same radio, you can throw in one AA battery to keep the talk flowing for another 24 hours.
